Wii Love Missions Info

nintendo-wii-consoleThe inaugural “Wii Love Missions “ Nintendo Wii tournament will take place on Saturday, March 21 in the Steelman Student Center at Red Bank Baptist Church.  The tournament will run from 1:00 until 4:00 pm.  The tournament is open to anyone, so bring family, friends, total stranger, or family and friends of total strangers.  Even if you have never played Wii, you will still have a good time.

The entry fee is $10 per person.  $10 may seem steep for a church video game tournament, but 100% of the money raised goes to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions.  If you don’t know about Annie, or the offering in her honor, click here to learn more.  $10 is just a suggested entry fee, so feel free to give more, or less.

The tournament is a Modified Round Robin King of the Hill format.  In case you don’t know what that means (which you probably don’t since I just made it up), here is how it will work.  There will be five multiplayer games going at all times.  The winner of each game keeps playing, and the loser(s) move on to another game.  The winner for each game, and the overall winner is based on who has the longest winning streak(s).  This means that you don’t have to be at all 3 hours of the tournament in orderto have a shot at winning.

Speaking of winning, prizes will be awarded, and door prizes will be given out.  We will also provide snacks & drinks.  With all that, $10 sounds like a bargain, huh?
