Service Opportunities for the Summer Celebration

Red Bank Baptist is hosting a Summer Celebration July 5 – 8. This will a great time of worship and learning about God, but it is also an opportunity for us to serve.

The Good News Singers from First Baptist Church Jacksonville will be leading us in worship, and these high school students need a place to sleep during that week.  Housing is needed for around 40 more students, so if you have room for a couple, your help would be greatly appreciated.  As a host home, you will be responsible for providing two or more students a place to sleep, breakfast in the morning, and a ride to and from church.

If you don’t have any room in the inn, there are other ways to serve.  Volunteers are needed to help serve food at various events.  Chaperones are needed for “Block Parties” that will be going on from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm a couple of days. There will be service projects going on at Red Bank High School a couple of days, and chaperones/ extra hands are needed there.

Another service opportunity is going door to door with teams of youth from First Baptist Jacksonville & Red Bank Baptist.  These teams will be inviting folks to the Summer Celebration.

There are a wide variety of service opportunities, and if you are even remotely interested in participating in one, contact the church office.  They can point you in the right direction for more details & to sign up to serve.
