WITNESS Continues at Red Bank Baptist

The WITNESS Series is rolling on at Red Bank Baptist Church.  Last Sunday was Week #2; the theme was “I” for “Invite.”  Skip’s Sunday School lesson came from John 1:35-51 and the Sermon came from John 4:28-42.

This Sunday is the “E” in WITNESS, Encouraging.  Come ready to talk about ways that you’ve been encouraged & the ways you have encouraged others.

This Sunday, our class will be Skyping with our church’s missions team that is currently in Cambodia.  It will be a great time to hear first hand what God is doing in that country through members of our church, including one of our own, Annika.

We will be meeting in the Student Center, along with the other Young Adult Sunday School Class.

Welcome Back Carter

Red Bank Baptist Sunday School Teacher Extraordinaire-Carter

After missing Sunday School the past few weeks because he was off bringing power back to ice storm victims, Carter is back.  Sort of.

Carter is on a mission trip with our church to Orphanage Emmanuel in Honduras, but that won’t keep him away from our class.  He will be teaching us live, thanks to the wonders of technology.

Since our classroom isn’t on the cutting edge of technology, we will be meeting in a yet to be announced location.  If we don’t have word on the exact location by Sunday Morning, there will be a sign on our classroom door.

This Sunday is your chance to be a part of Red Bank Baptist history, as it is the first time a Sunday School lesson has been taught by someone in another country.  It’s also possible that you will witness an international incident, because you never know what Carter’s going to say.

You Can Stay Calm

The title of this Sunday’s lesson is “You Can Stay Calm.”  It comes from 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17.  Read these verses before coming to Sunday School, so you can come up with some really tough questions to try and stump Carter & Phil.
